Open Question: Golf in Whistler B.C in winter?

I'm a 17 year old training to be a pro golfer. Love snowboarding, white water kayaking and pretty much all sports known to man, especially high adventure ones. I LOVE Canada and plan on moving there in a few years after school is over and done with but need to be able to play or at least practice golf all year round. Of course there will be snow in the wintertime but is there any chance there are places in or even NEAR Whistler that have playing or practicing facilities all year round? I know there is the Jack Nicklaus North Course which looks great, does anyone know if that gets completely unplayable during winter? These may sound like stupid questions but I am not from the area (I'm from Australia) and need about as much help as I can get. Your help would be very much appreciated! Thanks.

We have this culminating task for a book called Red Kayak by Priscilla Cummings. I have to mae a movie trailer for this book..about 2 mins long. So..I need some help from ppl who read this book. Like in the Twilight trailers..they have their sayings like "If you can live forever...what do you live for" and stuff. So then what should the tag line for Red Kayak be? HELPP PLZZ.. and also what scenes shud be included in the trailer? thxx :) the link wont work?

Open Question: Questions about an upcoming Vietnam trip...?

I am going on a school excursion to Vietnam in the October holidays of this year for about 16 days. we'll mostly be in the Hanoi area, as well as Halong Bay, Nimh Bihn, Hoa Lu, Lao Chi, Sapa, up to the mountains and many other places. obviously ive never been there so the names i just wrote are probably every small towns and villages!! anyway, some of the things we will be doing include: staying in a Junk for a few nights (as well as hotels), kayaking, bike riding, treking, shopping, staying with a local family, trying out all the local cuisine and meeting other students. what im basically wondering is: 1. what to wear? (will shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops be fine for that time of year, or something warmer)? 2. customs or anything i should know about? 3. how much will meals cost (roughly)? 4. warnings or things to watch out for? 5. what is the plumbing like over there? (toilet and showers on the Junk, hotels and local family!?!) 6. things not to miss? 7. things NOT to do? and any other helpful and handy hints. thanks heaps guys!!!

Open Question: What would be a good kayak?

I am trying to decide what kayak would be good for me. I would like one that is more for touring and is easy to maneuver. I also want to be able to fish from it. I am a smaller person, and I am really not sure where to start. I probably won't be doing rapids at all and would like a price range from <$700. Any recommendations or advice? What is the difference between a women's kayak and a regular one?

Open Question: Looking for a cheap kayak...?

I'm looking for a good kayak for casual recreational use. It will be used mostly on a lake / very slow moving river, but I also have access to the ocean (lake turns into river and outlets into ocean). Price is the biggest factor, but I also want something that would be appropriate for my intended use. Can anyone recommend brand, style, or size I should be looking for? Does anyone know of anywhere I can get a kayak on the cheap, or how much is a good price for a used kayak?
